Recycling and utilisation

Cyclamen has developed its own solution of dry cleaning the non-ferrous metals. The metals arethoroughly analysed using a sequence of X-rays. Our advantage is that we have mastered this state-of-the-art technology and can implement high-precision sorting processes in which each batch is carefully categorised. We are able to process all sizes from 0 to 250 mm.

Cyclamen designs and operates its mobile plants. Each plant is sized to process 100,000 tonnes of bottom ashes per year while being very compact to limit the space required on your site. Our strength lies in combining technology with the in-depth expertise of our teams, enabling us to recover at least 80% of the non-ferrous metals contained in your bottom ashes. We also provide you with a slag ballast that complies with the strictest standards for use in road engineering (standard NF P 11-300 F61).

Before you entrust us with your batch, we will provide you with a purchase offer detailing our purchase price for aluminium, copper alloys (also known as heavy metals) as well as the processing and transport costs. If you agree with our proposal, we will collect your material and deliver it to our recycling plantUpon arrival, your batch will undergo a thorough analysis to determine the concentrations of aluminium, copper alloys, inert materials and moisture. Then you just need to apply the results to the offer to get the final purchase price.
Your batch undergoes exclusive and anonymous treatment within our production chain. This means that production has no knowledge of the identity of the supplier, avoiding human bias in the reproduction of previous values.
We take a double sample before processing. If there are any discrepancies with the non-ferrous metal concentrations we have determined, we use this second sample. Our laboratory assesses its reliability, although the quantity taken is limited and the use of an automatic sampler may not be fully representative.
After this check, we validate our analyzes if they match, otherwise the second sample confirms a production error. In the latter case, we adjust our values to your expected concentrations.
It is important to note that we are open to an audit by an external audit company during the processing of your batch.
